Daggubati Rana made his debut as hero through ‘Leader’. He made his second appearance before the camera for a Hindi film titled ‘Dum Maro Dum’.

At the same time, he featured as hero in a Telugu film ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ directed by Puri Jagannath and produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions with Ileana as the heroine.

Though ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’ had completed its shooting long ago, the release of the film is getting postponed due to one reason or the other and finally the film is getting ready for release on April 29.

Prior to that the Telugu version of ‘Dum Maro Dum’ would hit the screens. Keeping all these point aside, Rana is getting ready for a film to be produced by Paruchuri Kireeti on the banner of United Movies.

The film was slated to hit the floors on April 9. Prakash Tholeti is making his debut as director with this film. It is worth mentioning here that Prakash worked as an associate with Bommarillu Bhaskar and Sukumar.

Genelia would play the female lead in this movie. Another point to be noted here that earlier it was planned to rope in Nara Rohit for this movie but Rana replaced him.
